- Councilman since 1998, working to create jobs and strengthen our local tax base through major development projects in the Route 110 area
- Sponsored sweeping environmental legislation preserving hillside areas and open spaces
- Instrumental in Canon USA's relocation to Huntington; recognized by the Long Island Business News as the Best Public Private Partnership for 2008
- Councilman since 2005, led efforts to protect the environment, open space and enhance quality of life
